Does anyone have current cost of house construction per square metre, generally and for owner builder on a budget, collect used materials. What is the range?

Hi,
The cost of our "owner built" (cause i had builders do the hard work) strawbale house was $1500 per M2, it was mostly new materials (wooden windows, low E glazing, roof, ceiling, internal wall & floor insulation), i went for good quality throughout with hardwood timbers and professional rendering.
I've got full costing details if you'd like more detail let me know..

Hi! We are looking at building our own SB home on a strict budget. We’ve got a fair amount of construction experience but not in SB and have no idea of how much work we could put in to bring the costs down. We would love to see a copy of your costings if possible.
Thankyou!

Hi,
I could email the costings to you if you would like, they are in an Excel document. Please let me know your email address.
