I am currently travelling around Australia till October and would love to find some work in straw bale. I have studied under Chris Magwood in Canada, the building science of straw bale, as well as its practival application through building the Camp Kawarthra Environmental Education Centre in Peterborough, ON, Canada. Considering I have limited experience in the field, I am more than willing to work hard for little pay as long as I can obtain more experience. If anybody knows where I can find work, or do volunteer work in straw bale please let me know.

cheers,

Chris

Hi,
We are building a HUGE straw bale house in the Brisbane Range National Park (beetween Ballarat and Geelong, in Vic). We should be raising the walls in a month or 2. If you, or anyone else, is interested to come give a hand and get some experience, send me an email: M.Lepesteur-Thompson@biocydes.com.au
Cheers
Muriel

Would the Durra panels (the pressed strawpanels) be an option? They both look nice and insulate at the same time.
